Familia Center is a Latino based family resource center serving low-income Latino residents of Northern Santa Cruz County. The Center was founded in 1983 as a small health clinic to address the lack of accessible health care services for low-income Latino residents of the Beach Flats and Lower Ocean areas in the City Santa Cruz. Recognizing the additional needs of the Spanish-speaking community, Familia Center, has since evolved into a multi-faceted resource center with bilingual and culturally appropriate programs.
